Welcoming Party ICAC 4th UMS 2025: A First Step to Strengthen Synergy and Collaboration

A spirit of unity and enthusiasm filled the Welcoming Party of the International Culture and Academic Competition (ICAC) 2025 organizing committee, held by the Office of International Affairs (BKUI) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). This event marked the first official gathering of committee members from all divisions, aimed at building chemistry and aligning visions ahead of the 4th ICAC.

Held at the Siti Walidah Main Building of UMS, the atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie was evident from the very beginning. The event opened with welcoming remarks from the Head of Mobility and Hospitality Division at BKUI, Sri Indra Kurnia, S.KM., MPH.

“The committee is the key to ICAC’s success. Through this event, we hope to foster a sense of ownership and pride in a program that has become an icon of our campus’s internationalization,” she stated.

Sri Indra Kurnia also encouraged the team to bring innovation and creativity to ICAC 2025.

“The enthusiasm of students is the driving force behind this event. I believe that with synergy and collaboration among all committee members, we will create something new, fresh, and colourful,” she added.

The event continued with introductions among committee members, collaborative games, and an overview presentation of ICAC 2025. Rezza Fahlevi, President of ICAC 2025, also delivered a motivating message to the team.

“We’re not just organizing an event—we’re building a legacy. Let’s make ICAC 2025 the most memorable one yet,” he declared.

Held on Wednesday, April 23rd, the gathering successfully broke the ice and strengthened collective spirit among committee members from various faculties and organizational backgrounds. The Welcoming Party is expected to serve as a strong foundation for a solid and creative teamwork in delivering the upcoming 4th ICAC.
