Sleman, May 17, 2025 — Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) took part in the Graduation Expo organized by MAN 1 Sleman, held at the iconic Monumen Jogja Kembali (Monjali) in Yogyakarta. This event served as a strategic opportunity for UMS to promote its leading academic offerings, with a strong focus on its International Program.
The International Program was one of the highlights of UMS’s presence at the event, attracting great interest from students eager to explore global learning opportunities. The program offers an English-delivered curriculum, international exposure through global mobility, and modern academic facilities designed to prepare students to compete on an international scale.
UMS was represented by Alex Kurniadi, S.Pd., Staff of the International Program, who personally engaged with students to share insights about study programs, admission tracks, available scholarships, and student life in the International Class.
“The International Program at UMS is designed to produce graduates who are not only academically strong, but also globally competent. We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm of MAN 1 Sleman students toward this opportunity,” said Alex.
To make the booth experience even more exciting, UMS also featured a 360 photobooth, which became a major attraction among students. The interactive photo experience offered a fun and memorable activity, while also creatively promoting UMS as a modern and student-friendly campus.
Throughout the event, students showed high levels of curiosity and engagement — asking about program structures, campus life, exchange opportunities, and how UMS supports international students. The Graduation Expo proved to be an excellent platform for UMS to connect directly with prospective students and introduce its global vision in education.
