On Friday, August 24, 2018 Bureau of Collaborations and International Affairs conducted a briefing for students who are going to start their outbound mobility program this September in UTHM Malaysia, NDHU Taiwan, Wuxi China, Dong Eui and Youngsan University South Korea. These thirty six students will take different program such as double degree, credit transfer, internship and summer program.
The Head of Bureau of Collaborations and International Affairs (BKUI), Supriyono Ph.D congratulated all students and explained that the key of university internationalization is mobility, and based on DIKTI’s ranking on mobility UMS is placed in university cluster number 2. He also mentioned that students who are going to apply for mobility program next year should apply through the BKUI website.
Soepatini, Ph.D as the Head of Collaborations emphasized the importance of mobility for students. She said that it can improve the employability of university graduates because companies will see them as people with skills and experience especially regarding risk-taking, confidence, and networking. The most important thing, as added by Hepy adityarini, Ph.D, the Head of International Programs, is that students must always show good attitude and behavior when studying abroad.
